Per a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dragon Lee will be returning to NJPW.
Dave Meltzer’s report notes that Lee’s brother, Rush of ROH, has stated in recent interviews that his brother will be returning to New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
“Rush in interviews spoke about how his brother would be going to New Japan in 2020, so that seems to be an indication things have been worked out politically where Dragon Lee can return. With Hiromu Takahashi back, it made sense to bring back Dragon Lee since the two are career rivals and while an accident, Lee was the one who injured him which put him out of action for 18 months.”
Rush and his brother have their focus mainly on ROH Final Battle on December 13.
