Drew McIntyre is earning serious praise backstage for his recent travel schedule which saw the Scottish Warrior land in five countries in under a week.
McIntyre has been one of WWE’s most prominently featured stars since his 2017 return to the promotion, three years after being released.
PWinsider reports that after appearing on SmackDown in the U.S, McIntyre was whisked away to Switzerland and later Germany to make appearances for the company.
McIntyre’s time in Europe ended when he traveled to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, where he defeated Karrion Kross in a Steel Cage match, all while battling a stomach bug.
After Crown Jewel, McIntyre flew to India to film a movie role for a project between WWE and Sony, before flying back to the U.S. in time for the next episode of SmackDown.
Since SmackDown, McIntyre has continued to make WWE live event appearances and is expected to be on this Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
Pwinsider said that “quite a few people” have been praising McIntyre for his commitment to the company as shown with his recent schedule.
Judging by last week’s SmackDown, the former World Champion is expected to be part of the Men’s WarGames match later this month at Survivor Series WarGames.
