This week WWE Superstars got to spend their Christmas at home with their families. This week’s Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live episodes on Christmas Eve and Day, respectively, were pre-taped last week. However, one WWE star’s holiday break wasn’t so pleasant.
NXT star and recent WWE main roster call-up EC3 took to Twitter and revealed that he was “violently throwing up” during Christmas Eve:
“Merry Christmas to you all. I spent last night violently throwing up with the flu. I hope you have a blessed and charmed day with those you love the most.”

EC3 was one of several NXT stars – along with Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Heavy Machinery, and Lars Sullivan – to be called up to WWE’s main roster recently. The McMahon Family recently announced some changes coming to WWE programming to make the product geared more towards what fans want to see. That will include new Superstars in the form of NXT call-ups. It looks like EC3 is part of the first batch of talents to help that agenda.
