WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff believes that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has no reason to step back into the ring.
For years, fans have been eager to see The Rock back in the ring and for a while, it appeared that he’d face Roman Reigns at this year’s WrestleMania 39 pay-per-view event.
On a recent episode of the “Locked & Loaded” podcast, Bischoff argued that the Brahma Bull has no reason to wrestle again considering his non-in-ring commitments. He said,
“The Rock’s not coming back. He’s making $15 million a movie. He’s got stunt doubles, and he’s so big right now. He’s not been in the ring and until you’ve been in the ring — and I haven’t so I’m not speaking from firsthand experience — but having been around it enough… When a performer or wrestler walks away from the business, whether they were injured or for whatever reason… That off time, it takes a long time to get your body into wrestling condition.”
While recent comments by Grayson Waller led to some speculating on a match between the Aussie and Johnson, that has not been confirmed.
