During Saturday night’s Impact Hard to Kill pay-per-view event, we witnessed the debut of Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder in WWE) as he took on Ace Austin in singles competition. Originally, Austin wanted to be part of the X-Division Championship match but was denied this request by Impact EVP Scott D’Amore. Instead, D’Amore placed Austin in a match against the debuting Matt Cardona.
Cardona won the match by DQ after Madman Fulton got involved.
