Following a story from Pat McAfee about almost quitting WWE after being yelled at by Michael Cole for wearing shorts on the WrestleMania kickoff show, former WWE ring announcer Alex Del Barrio took to his Twitter to speak out about his own instances being yelled at by Michael Cole and the peculiar company culture of WWE overall.
In these tweets, Alex details everything from being yelled at are using the term skin the cat, which Jim Ross used to use frequently, and even being yelled at for buying Whataburger after an NXT live event.
While Del Barrio does say that the only one of these instances was with Michael Cole, this is an interesting insight into the everyday life of a WWE employee:

Cole I would argue has hired good talent, is underrated as a PXP guy when the reigns are taken off and when he wants to be an EXCELLENT teacher…but he also has a stupid temper, is fake when it comes to building a real culture of “team” and fosters a culture of not trusting

Anyone and being constantly afraid of losing your gig at every turn. There are several other stories from other folks in his circle that have more direct interaction with his temper. This McAfee story doesn’t surprise me AT ALL.
