Shinsuke Nakamura (C) vs. Roman Reigns – Intercontinental Championship

Towards the end of the match, Roman Reigns is preparing for the Spear. Unfortunately, King Corbin comes from behind and knocks Roman down with his scepter for the DQ.

Winner by DQ: Roman Reigns

After the match, Corbin and Nakamura beat down Roman before Daniel Bryan comes out for the save. He fights off everyone and goes for a Suicide Dive, but Sami holds down Bryan’s leg. This allows Nakamura to hit the Kinsasha on him. Zayn, Nakamura and King Corbin stand tall.

Backstage, we have a segment with The New Day and Heavy Machinery. They talk about the tag team tournament match at Crown Jewel. Otis is out with a mix of batter and Tucker fills it with protein powder. Otis chugs it down. The New Day and Heavy Machinery will be teaming up to face SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival and Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode later tonight.

Corbin is asked about attacking Roman, and he wears his crown laughing it off.

Shorty Gable vs. Curtis Axel

After a series of counters, Gable is able to get the Ankle lock, and Axel has no choice but to tap.

Hulk Hogan is interviewed via Skype and he is asked about how is team is looking for Crown Jewel with Seth Rollins being taken out of the match to tend to his feud with The Fiend. Hulk says that out of all of the people on the roster, Shorty G and Ali were two standouts and they have been officially added to Team Hogan.

Hulk also says that by the end of the night, he’ll have a huge announcement on who will replace Seth as new team captain.

Heavy Machinery and The New Day vs. Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler and The Revival

Otis gets the hot tag and he runs wild on everyone. Eventually, Big E tags himself in and Otis hands Scott Dawson to him. Xavier Woods tags himself in and The New Day hits the Midnight Hour to give the faces the win.

Winners: The New Day and Heavy Machinery

Daniel Bryan is asked backstage about the attack on him earlier and how it affects his mindset going into their tag match later. He says that he’s been beaten up thousands of times, but it doesn’t matter because it’s his first fight on Friday Night SmackDown, and he and Roman will put the two self-proclaimed kings in their places.

MizTV with Bayley is up next.

Bayley comes out with Sasha Banks and a recap of last week’s main event is played. Then, Bayley is asked why. She ponders an answer before saying she doesn’t owe anyone an explanation.

The Miz asks Bayley about all of the kids that looked up to her and Bayley shrugs her shoulders. Miz calls Bayley Brock Lesnar because she’s a champion that doesn’t speak and calls Sasha her Paul Heyman.

Miz then suggests that Bayley may be just be mad that she plays second fiddle to Sasha and wasn’t getting the reaction from the crowd that she wanted. Sasha says that Bayley answers to no one and that Miz shouldn’t be speaking since he was drafted in the fifth round. Miz says when he talks, people listen and that he doesn’t need to change who he is.

Bayley says that she slashed the stupid Bayley buddies because they defined who she was. People kept taking from her despite Bayley kept giving. She was in pain at Hell In a Cell and no one gave her a hug. She goes on to call the women’s division lazy and that she has outgrown all of them. Then she uses the famous Vince McMahon line, “Life sucks, and then you die.”

Nikki Cross comes out and says that the time for talk is over and the time for action is now. She says that after she wins her match, she’ll be sure to give Bayley a big hug. Dana Brooke comes out after her and talks about being underutilized and overlooked. And she says that tonight will mark a new beginning for her.

Nikki Cross vs. Lacey Evans vs. Dana Brooke vs. Sonya Deville vs. Mandy Rose vs. Carmella – Six Pack Challenge #1 Contender’s Match

At the end of the match, all of the women hit their finishers in rapid fire succession. After bodies fly left and right, Nikki Cross is able to eventually hit the swinging neckbreaker and pins Mandy Rose to earn a title shot.

Nikki and Bayley stare each other down after the match. We also get a Braun Strowman video package.

We get a recap package of Seth Rollins and The Fiend. The match between Seth Rollins and The Fiend is still Falls Count Anywhere, and now, the match cannot be stopped for any reason.

Braun Strowman vs. Drew Gulak

Before the match starts, Gulak introduces himself and tells Braun that if he goes into Crown Jewel with his attitude, Fury will knock him out. Gulak says he went out of his way to make a 345 slide Powerpoint presentation, and says that if he reads it, he’ll win his match.

Braun starts attacking Gulak during the presentation and gets an easy victory with the running powerslam, and sends a warning to Tyson.

Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and King Corbin

Before the match starts, it is announced that Roman Reigns is Seth Rollins’ replacement as Team Hogan’s captain.
