Hulk Hogan has once again praised the efforts of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, after saying he is keeping the ‘art’ of the main eventer alive.
Reigns has proven to be especially dominant in recent years and surpassed 1,000 days as WWE Universal Champion last weekend.
Speaking to “The MMA Hour,” Hogan praised Reigns for understanding the it-factor in pro wrestling that many stars never figure out. He said,
“He’s got it figured out. A lot of people wrestle [for] 20 or 30 years and they don’t ever figure it out. I mean, they’re smart to the business, but they really never figured it out. He’s figured out as far as placement and timing goes, and that slow, methodical cadence when you’re in the ring.
“End of the day, if I was in my prime and I walked in with him, I could draw some major money with him.”
While Hogan has praise for Reigns, the Tribal Chief has said in the past that he wasn’t much of a Hulkamaniac growing up and preferred Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart.
On this Friday’s episode of SmackDown, there will be a celebration of Reigns reaching 1,000 days as WWE Universal Champion.
