A report last week from the Wrestling Observer claimed that Hulk Hogan was asking for a “shockingly low” amount of money for his appearances in Dallas, Texas during the weekend of WrestleMania 32. A representative of Hogan for the Prince Marketing Group, who represents Hogan for his appearances, has issued a statement saying that the report is not true.
Nick Cordasco of Prince Marketing Group, who has worked for Hogan for 10 years, issued a statement stating the following on the Observer’s story:
“My name is Nick Cordasco. My firm Prince Marketing Group and I have worked for Mr. Hogan for almost 10 years now. I would say 99% of all business deals involving Mr. Hogan right now run through our firm ESP appearances, signings, meet and greets. I just wanted to clear up any rumors that were written regarding any appearances in Dallas during WM week. We have had many offers to appear. The champ has turned them all down. We are NOT pitching anyone with lower rates for Hulk Hogan to appear. The last conversation my partner Darren Prince and I had with Hulkster was he wanted to take a break from public signings / meet and greets. So I can confidently say what was written above is not true.”
