iMPACT! Wrestling is teasing “repercussions” against Sami Callihan following his attack on iMPACT! EVP Don Callis at a recent Destiny Wrestling event. You can see the post from ImpactWrestling.com below:
Executive Vice President of IMPACT Wrestling, Don Callis was recently in Toronto, Canada receiving The “Come Back” of the Year Award as presented by Anthony Carelli. It was supposed to be a night that honored the career of Don Callis. It was supposed to be a feel good night and moment. Don’s family was in attendance and this was on Don’s personal time.
Things took a drastic turn. Sami Callihan showed up and assaulted Don Callis. Sami Callihan, the vile human being who has gone after not only Eddie Edwards, but his wife Alisha Edwards as well, has now decided to attack an Executive of IMPACT Wrestling. Sami has seemingly been plotting this on Don Callis ever since New Orleans and WrestleCon.
Remember, it was Don Callis, on behalf of IMPACT Wrestling, who threw the towel in for Eddie Edwards at WrestleCon. The “I Quit” Match where Don got on the ring apron and threw in the towel because Sami was ready to destroy Eddie Edwards once and for all. It may have ended the career of Eddie if it weren’t for the towel being thrown.
Details are still emerging, but there will be a closed door meeting between Executives this Thursday during IMPACT Wrestling to decide the fate and future of Sami Callihan. Will he be suspended?
