Tonight’s iMPACT! Wrestling broadcast on the POP TV Network will be the first show that will no longer be using the “TNA” name. They will also be using the marketing slogan, “Make iMPACT! Wrestling Great Again” and will feature new names and a new direction for the company.
iMPACT Wrestling is continuing to try and lock their talents into contracts with new terms. As previously reported, the new contracts have a stipulation where talents are paid per date instead of per episode. So, if a talent works multiple matches in a single taping, they’ll only get one check instead of two or three. The new contracts also give iMPACT! approval of outside bookings and a 10% fee from all outside wrestling income.
Jeremy Borash will be returning to the iMPACT! Wrestling announce booth full-time beginning this week.
