Fightful Select has some new details on a possible title change that may occur during the Impact tapings leading into Under Siege, which takes place on May 14th.
According to their report, at least one title change is planned. With that being said, every champion currently in the company is working under a contract that will be expiring within the year and/or do not have a full-time contract with the company at all.
This isn’t considered to be anything out of the ordinary, as the wrestlers have proven to them that there are still opportunities in the organization without a long-term contract. Currently, Kenny Omega holds the Impact World Championship, Josh Alexander is the X-Division Champion, Deonna Purrazzo is the Knockouts Champion, FinnJuice are the Impact World Tag-Team Champions, and Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering are the Impact Knockouts Tag-Team Champions.
