Beyond Wrestling has indefinitely suspended executive producer Jon Roy.

On Thursday, Beyond Wrestling’s Drew Cordeiro took to Twitter to announce that Roy was suspended for use of derogatory language. He wrote,

“Effective immediately I have indefinitely suspended our executive producer Jon Roy.

Our code of conduct states derogatory language will not be tolerated.

I’ll address this further when my schedule allows.

-Drew”

It’s worth noting that Roy recently referred to a transgender woman as an “ugly bald guy in a dress” on Twitter.

Roy also took to Twitter alleging that he was fired. He wrote,

“I got fired, so I’m sure all 8 people that got mad at me are still going to support their local favorites because I won’t be there.”

Roy has since deleted his Twitter account.

In other news, Bull Nakano recently spoke with Sports Illustrated to comment on her role as the commissioner of the all-women’s Sukeban promotion.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On being appointed the company’s commissioner: “I was appointed Commissioner of Sukeban in 2023. The thing that excites me most about Sukeban is that I get to see the past, present, and future of the unique Japanese culture all in the ring. I like the acknowledgment of the Sukeban lifestyle from decades ago, and the veteran wrestlers and young wrestlers coming together to put on the best show.”

On the Sukeban roster: “I am so proud of all of the athletes who are active now, and I try to support them. My favorite wrestlers, the ones I care about most, are all the Sukeban wrestlers. I consider them like my children. I see unlimited potential in the Sukeban wrestlers. There are so many young, talented wrestlers on the roster. I want to continue to watch and support Sukeban as Commissioner to see how far it will go in the future.”
