Matthew Justice is your new MLW National Openweight Champion.
During Sunday night’s ‘Lucha Apocalypto’ event, Justice defeated Bad Dude Tito Escondido to capture the title.
This marks Justice’s first run with the title. Escondido’s title reign comes to an end at 184 days.

Also at Sunday night’s MLW ‘Lucha Apocalypto’ event, Cesar Duran was rescued from a kidnapping as Salina De La Renta’s water broke.
In a vignette that aired on the show, De La Renta learned that Duran (on-screen father) had been kidnapped. De La Renta told a henchmen to find him and accused CONTRA Unit of being behind the scheme during the show.
Following the main event segment, De La Renta, Jesus Rodriguez, and two henchmen found Duran tied up in the venue. De La Renta’s water then broke, and she was rushed to the hospital as Duran found a note in his pocket.
We’ll have to wait and see what the note says in the future.

And finally, MLW Slaughterhouse will be taking place on November 23rd.
The main event will feature AKIRA vs. Mads Krule Krugger in a Weapons of Mass Destruction Match.
