Stephanie Vaquer To Defend NJPW Strong Women’s Title Ahead Of Forbidden Door

Stephanie Vaquer will defend her NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, ahead of her upcoming title for title match with Mercedes Mone.

It was confirmed this month that Vaquer will put her title on the line against the TBS Champion and her title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30.

On Twitter, it was confirmed that Vaquer will defend against La Catalina at CMLL x NJPW Fantastica Mania on June 21 in Mexico.

Tony Khan has announced that if Catalina wins the title, then the match at Forbidden Door will still be Vaquer vs. Mone but only for the TBS Championship.

Mercedes Mone will defend her title against Zeuxis Lucero on the upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite. There is no word on what will happen should Mone lose the gold.
