— Indy women’s wrestler “Pryme Tyme” Amy Lee did an interview with Kayfabe Wrestling Radio where she critiqued Trish Stratus’ induction into the WWE Hall of Fame before the late Luna Vachon: “[Luna] was trained by Moolah, who was someone who’s in your Hall of Fame and you don’t put f–king Luna Vachon in there? God forbid you have her uncle accept on her behalf or her sons to acknowledge her credibility; Oh wait, that’s right, back in 2000 you told her she was a great wrestler but she wasn’t pretty enough for TV, so you fired her. Oh yeah, I forgot that, she wasn’t pretty enough.”
— On the most recent edition of AXS TV’s “Inside MMA,” manager Tito Ortiz stated that Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos has requested her release from the UFC. Here is what Ortiz said…
“Right now, we’re actually waiting for the UFC to release her. We asked for them to release her, and Dana actually talked to me (Thursday). They gave an offer, and I went to Cyborg and she didn’t want to do it, so we asked for her release. Since they’re not having a 145-pound weight class, what else can they do?
So as of now, she’s going to be released, and maybe we’ll go looking somewhere else and you’ll be seeing Cyborg crush some other women’s faces.”
