Jack Perry is back.
At Saturday night’s NJPW ‘Battle in the Valley’ event, Perry made a surprise appearance. He wound up attacking Shota Umino and then held up an armband that read ‘SCAPEGOAT’. He would go on to pull out his AEW contract and rip it up.
Perry hasn’t been seen since the All In 2023 pay-per-view event, where he was involved in a well-documented backstage fight with CM Punk. This resulted in Punk being fired from the company, while Perry was suspended indefinitely.
While there were some reports that Perry’s suspension had been lifted, he still hadn’t appeared on AEW programming. Of course, AEW has a partnership with NJPW so who knows where this will go from here.
