ESPN is reporting that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger’s next mixed martial arts (MMA) fight under the Bellator MMA banner is set. Swagger (real name Jake Hager) will face Anthony Garrett at Bellator 231 on October 25 from the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut.
The heavyweight contest will likely air on the main card. The 37-year-old is 2-0 in his MMA career with two submission wins. He’ll take on Garrett, a 4-2 competitor signed from the Shamrock FC promotion. Bellator 231 is headlined by a heavyweight bout between Frank Mir and Roy Nelson.
