In a recent appearance on the Cafe de Rene podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts, in conversation with Rene Dupree, shared his thoughts on MJF pouring a drink on a young fan during his 60-minute Iron Man match with Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution.
While Roberts has certainly been highly appreciative of the AEW World Champion’s work as a heel, he deemed the aforementioned incident too much. He said,
“Anything where you do something to a fan is too much. Here’s the thing guys: the fans are the ones that make you. Don’t [say] ‘Hey, you fat f***ing b***h.’ There’s no need for that. No. 1, she probably is a fat b***h and the kids beside her know momma is fat. She doesn’t need to be reminded. Is she coming back [to an AEW show in the future]? I doubt it, because the kids are crying, ‘that guy made fun of momma,’ and I’m not coming back for that s**t.”
After a lengthy absence from AEW due to health issues, Jake Roberts recently returned on an episode of Rampage a few weeks ago in his role as the manager of Lance Archer.
Meanwhile, following his successful title defense against The American Dragon at Revolution, MJF is set for a ‘Re-Bar Mitzvah Celebration’ on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, on what just so happens to be The Salt of the Earth’s birthday.
