During Friday night’s ROH “Supercard of Honor” show, Jay Lethal would defeat Lee Moriarty, whilst turning heel in the process. Firstly, Lethal would secure a victory over Moriarty after hitting his opponent with a low blow, followed by nailing him with the Lethal Injection.
Following the conclusion of the match, Lethal would double down in his heel turn by attacking Matt Sydal. Sydal would confront Lethal over his cheap shot on Moriarty, to which Lethal would respond by kicking Sydal’s crutch away, before beating him down. It was at this point that Sonjay Dutt would pull Lethal away.
