Jey Uso competed in the main event of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, despite reportedly dealing with a broken hand.
During WWE Crown Jewel earlier this month, it was reported that Jey was dealing with a wrist injury and would undergo an MRI on his hand.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said it is likely Jey did break his hand but muscled through the pain for WarGames.
“On the PPV they said it actually wasn’t broken, they thought it was. It wasn’t like they were making it up as a storyline, they might have been some ligament damage. So this week, Jey thought, he comes out and says he thought he had a broken hand and his hand was taped out. He said ‘I think I broke my hand for real.’ So he probably really did (break his hand), so he worked that great match with a broken hand.”
On the show, Jey got the pinfall win for the Bloodline in their WarGames match with Team Brutes and has made amends with Sami Zayn.
