CM Punk will probably sue All Elite Wrestling if he’s fired from the promotion, according to Jim Cornette.
Punk joined AEW last year and is a two-time former World Champion.
The Chicago-Made wrestler was removed from AEW programming following his explosive comments at the All Out 2022 media scrum and his role in the backstage fight that followed.
Speaking on his ‘Experience’ podcast, Jim Cornette addressed Punk’s potential legal challenge.
“Punk’s been putting up with this s**t for a while, if he’s the biggest star in the company, if they fire him not only are they shooting themselves in the foot, but also he’ll probably sue!”
Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks have been suspended from AEW due to the ongoing investigation.
It is reported that AEW President Tony Khan could fire CM Punk and Ace Steel who are believed to have instigated the fight.
