It was revealed today John Cena will star in the “Peacemaker” series on HBO Max that will start production next year and be written as well as directed by James Gunn, the writer, and director of Squad and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
The eight-episode series will look at the origins of the Peacemaker character.
It will be a spinoff series to “The Suicide Squad” film that will be released next year.
