Pwinsider reported today that John Laurinaitis has been officially let go by WWE.
The termination happened within the last week or so. It was kept quiet beyond a very small circle.
Laurinaitis previously worked as WWE’s Head of Talent Relations but was sent home amid ‘hush pact’ allegations surrounding himself and Vince McMahon, which the company is investigating.
He originally joined the company in March 2001 after the acquisition of WCW where he was moved into the Director of Talent Relations role. However, Jim Ross still handled some of the responsibilities.
In 2009, he became the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations. Triple H moved into that role with Laurinaitis reporting to “The Game” as the Senior Vice President of Talent Operations in 2012.
