John Skyler has signed a new multi-year deal with Impact Wrestling after returning to the promotion. His initial deal expired earlier this year.
Skyler broke the news on The Angle Podcast. He said,
“That’s the thing that’s really appealing to me. I signed with Impact to break the perception of who John Skyler is. I have been this 15-year journeyman and I wanted to be taken more seriously as a threat, as a viable superstar, and as someone people can see money in.”
He first made his Impact debut in 2016 as part of a Tag Team Title Apocalypto match on the Total Nonstop Deletion edition of their weekly TV show before returning in July 2021 for a run that wrapped up in March 2022.
Skyler worked mainly in the X-Division and also pursued the Digital Media Title. He made his return at this month’s Throwback Throwdown 3 pay-per-view event.
