Former WWE Superstar Johnny Gargano is open to a return to the company following the recent shift in management behind the scenes.
Gargano, the first-ever NXT Triple Crown Champion, left the promotion last year after choosing not to re-sign his contract.
Bodyslam’s Cassidy Haynes reports that Gargano is more open to a return now with Triple H, who ran NXT, now running both Creative and Talent Relations.
“Sources have told me that with Triple H now in control as Head of Creative in WWE that Gargano is open to a WWE return and that he would be interested in talking to Hunter and “seeing how things would be changing.”
The report adds that Gargano has had talks with All Elite Wrestling.
Gargano hasn’t wrestled since his departure from WWE, instead focusing on being a father to his son Quill, who was born this past February.
