In his first match after winning the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship on Wednesday, Jon Moxley ran through Shota Umino in the opening match of NJPW Dominion 2019.
Although the match was non-title, the Young Lion gave his all against the newly-christened Death Rider. The match actually started with Moxley on the ropes.
However, in the end, Umino met the same fate of Juice Robinson. A double-arm DDT, which has been dubbed the Death Rider, spelled the end for Shota Umino and victory for the former Dean Ambrose.
After the match, the former WWE Champion declared his intention to be apart of the G1 Climax Tournament:
