Juice Robinson’s contract with NJPW is set to expire at the end of April. NJPW’s Windy City Riot will most likely be his last event with the company at this time. Robinson says he doesn’t feel like wrestling and this has led to rumors of him walking away from the wrestling business entirely. According to Fightful, Robinson has clarified these remarks and said that is not the case at all. Robinson is planning not to retire but is going to be working only a few dates at a time.
Robinson’s deal with NJPW had originally been set to expire on January 31st but he got a contract extension through the end of April. The reason for Robinson not taking any additional dates is because he doesn’t want to be tied down under another contract with any other company if he could give them his full 100% commitment. Robinson noted that he would be open to working with Impact Wrestling again and will be leaving NJPW on good terms.
