During a recent interview with Jerry Lawler’s “Dinner with the King” podcast, Kane noted that his character was originally only set to be for one match with The Undertaker. He said that Vince McMahon loved the brother vs. brother storyline so much that he kept him in the character. Kane said,
“Vince liked the storyline so much that he didn’t just want to do one match, he thought that he could make it a really good story out of it.“
