Karen Jarrett wants some of the younger talent in All Elite Wrestling to simply do what’s asked of them and not say “no.”
Speaking on a recent edition of the “AEW Unrestricted” podcast, the wife of Jeff Jarrett discussed her issues with the younger generation of wrestlers who often turn down advice and aren’t really “team players.”
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On wanting people to be team players in AEW: “I do what I’m told, that’s my job. That’s one of the issues I have with the younger generations, wrestlers, managers, any part of the business –- it is a job. We are there getting paid, you don’t say no. I have big issues with people that say no.”
On her tag team match opposite Aubrey Edwards: “Even when they wanted us to have a match, I may have sent Jay Lethal some texts like, ‘I am not a wrestler, I don’t want to be a wrestler.’ But, it’s what my husband’s telling me to do, it’s what Tony [Khan] wants, we did it. You don’t say no.”
