During Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite, former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega commented on his loss to Hangman Page at Saturday night’s Full Gear pay-per-view event.
A backstage segment featuring The Elite opened this week’s show and Omega revealed that he’s stepping away from AEW for awhile in order to “fix some things.” The segment featured Omega congratulating Hangman Page on beating him for the AEW World Title and then telling The Elite to “hold down the fort” while he’s away. When Adam Cole said he would do just that, Omega said he was talking about The Young Bucks. Cole then responded with, “Of course.”
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Omega is taking time off to deal with some injuries he’s been dealing with over the last several years.
