Jay Briscoe died in a car accident in Laurel, Delaware on January 17th, eight days before his 39th birthday and one day before his brother’s 38th birthday. His daughters, who were in the car with him, suffered serious injuries.
The tributes continue to pour in for the late ROH World Tag Team Champion. On the latest episode of WWE SmackDown, Kevin Owens and The Viking Raiders honored the late Briscoe. Erik, Ivar, and Valhalla wore armbands that read ‘Dem Boys,’ the nickname of The Briscoes. Owens sported a ‘Jay’ armband. The Prizefighter and The Viking Raiders took to Twitter to share the photos from SmackDown, which you can see below:
The Prizefighter and his family also donated $10,000 to the fundraiser for Briscoe’s family.
