UPDATE: As we reported earlier today here on eWn, Kevin Owens has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE. WrestleVotes has confirmed the reports that WWE officials “felt strongly” about keeping Owens and have wanted to re-sign him “for a while now.”
Kevin Owens re-signs with WWE as first reported by @SeanRossSapp. I can add that WWE felt strongly in keeping Owens & wanted to get this deal done for a while now. I’d imagine KO will remain part of the main event scene going forward.

Additionally, Pat Laprade took to Twitter to reveal that Owens appeared on his podcast earlier today to discuss his decision. The podcast will be debuting tomorrow.
I can confirm that Kevin Owens has signed a multi-year contract to stay with WWE. I had Kevin on my podcast yesterday, we were going to release it tomorrow, but Sean beat me to it. Still, more from KO tomorrow about his decision. https://t.co/BUia0Ay9zs

ORIGINAL: Kevin Owens has re-signed with WWE, according to Fightful Select.
WWE was very interested in retaining Owens and the company made him “an excellent offer” to stay. The company was said to be over the moon about retaining Owens.
AEW talent that spoke with Fightful didn’t think AEW would realistically match what WWE would offer him to stay with the company. Those wrestlers also stated that they believe AEW would’ve been interested in signing him.
