This will mark Takeshita’s first match for AJPW since 2016. More recently, the promotion welcomed WWE’s Charlie Dempsey, who challenged for the Triple Crown Championship.
Takeshita’s most recent AEW match saw him on the losing end of an eight-man tag-team match at last week’s Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event.
