Kota Ibushi will make his GCW debut at The Collective 2023 during WrestleMania weekend when he works Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport and Joey Janela’s Spring Break events.
His opponents for the shows that take place in late March were not announced.
Ibushi’s contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling reportedly expired on February 1. He hasn’t wrestled since suffering a shoulder injury in the G1 Climax 2021 Finals against Kazuchika Okada in October 2021.
Last May, in a series of tweets, Ibushi blasted NJPW management with them later issuing penalties to him for the comments.
