During a recent interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Samu (aka Lance Anoa’i) discussed the long-rumored WrestleMania match between Roman Reigns and The Rock.
Samu is the real-life cousin of the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
During the interview, he talked about who would have the edge in the match and more. You can read highlights (and see a clip of his interview) below:
On The Rock vs. Roman dream match: “That rumor, or that dream match or whatever you want to call it, has been in the ears of everybody for a long time. Whether it will come to [fruition] or not, who knows. But knowing WWE, they’ll probably do whatever it takes to make it happen.”
Who would win: “I would pick Roman. I feel that he has the youth, the strength, and the time to dedicate to fans of the wrestling federation.”
WrestleMania 39 is slated to take place on April 1st and 2nd, 2023 from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
