As of last Friday, WWE reportedly planned to save Cody Rhodes’ return for WrestleMania 38 where he is scheduled to wrestle Seth Rollins.
Fightful Select reported today that as of Sunday night, Cody Rhodes was not on the internal script as appearing on WWE RAW tonight. The expected teases were set to continue regardless.
However, as of late last week, Rhodes was actually scheduled to fly into Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky on Monday and be there this week. It’s unclear exactly what he’s doing there, but it is a 4.5-hour drive from Cincinnati to Pittsburgh, the site of tonight’s RAW.
WWE has Cody internally slated for next Monday’s RAW.
