WWE Hall of Famer Edge is reportedly set to bring back his Rated-R Superstar gimmick when he returns to Monday Night RAW.
Edge is expected to return on next week’s episode, which will air from Madison Square Garden and be the go-home show before SummerSlam 2022.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE has already prepared Rated-R Superstar merchandise for Edge’s return.
Alverez noted that while the Rated-R Superstar gimmick has been used when Edge has worked as a heel, it makes more sense for him to return as a babyface.
Edge has been missing since early June when The Judgment Day turned on him and attacked him.
