It was announced during this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown that we’ll be seeing Liv Morgan vs. Carmella at next Sunday night’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view event. The match was made official after Morgan almost broke Carmella’s nose during a match that featured Morgan and Toni Storm teaming up to face Carmella and Zelina Vega. This match was originally scheduled to take place last week on SmackDown from Madison Square Garden in New York City but it wound up being cut due to timing issues.
The end of the match came after Morgan pushed Carmella into the second turnbuckle. She immediately rolled out of the ring and covered her face, claiming that her nose was broken. While Zelina Vega tried to tell her everything was going to be okay, Carmella wound up being counted out and the match ended.
Morgan then cut a promo where she mocked Carmella and said she didn’t feel sorry for her because she always runs away from her.
