LuFisto has praised CM Punk as a “class act” amid the ‘real’ AEW World Champion’s latest controversy with the promotion.
Punk’s recent burial of ‘Hangman’ Adam Page following last week’s episode of Collision has once again raised questions as to whether his return to programming can work after All Out 2022.
On Twitter, LuFisto did not mention the controversy with Page, which Punk has apologized for, but praised the character of the Chicago-Made wrestler.
"One person’s PERSONAL experience is NOT…
A) The gospel truth
B) Facts
C) Anything but one perspective influenced by PERSONAL experience and interaction."Every time I met @CMPunk, he was always a true gentleman, a class act and fun to be around. 😊 pic.twitter.com/TWbYAMGnIy

LuFusto has had her own stream of issues with AEW, and after hinting at issues within AEW’s women’s division, was responded to with force by many on the roster.
