AEW’s Mark Henry hopes to see Dolph Ziggler become ‘All Elite’ soon enough following the Show-Off’s release from WWE last week.
During a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Henry addressed WWE’s recent releases, and while he thought Elias would be a good fit for AEW, he picked Ziggler as his top guy. He said,
“Dolph Ziggler, top of the list. One of the best wrestlers in this modern era, in the last 10 years for sure. His first 15 years, he was kind of cutting his teeth, getting acclimated, and then the next four [years], he started to get in the main event picture, kind of being the foil for other people. But the last 10 years, Dolph Ziggler’s been one of the elite of the elite guys.”
Ziggler’s brother Ryan Nemeth already works for AEW and Dolph will have to wait for his 90-day non-compete clause to expire on December 20 before making his next move.
