Matt Hardy has said that things have been cordial between CM Punk and Jeff Hardy thus far in AEW.
Before either man came to AEW, Jeff and Punk feuded in WWE in 2009 which referenced Hardy’s real-life substance abuse problems.
During the latest episode of his ‘Extreme Life’ podcast, Matt discussed his brother and former rival, saying that things have been cordial so far.
“Everything is fine,” Matt said. “Everyone’s outgrown dumb s**t.”
Matt went on to say that Jeff didn’t notice Punk the first time they came face to face, as the latter was covering his face with a black hoodie.
When Matt pointed Punk out, the two former rivals spoke briefly.
Punk joined AEW in August 2021 while Jeff joined in March 2022.
Jeff Hardy is suspended without pay due to being arrested in June for driving under the influence.
