Matt Jackson is dealing with a partially torn bicep as he suffered the injury during the three-way AEW Trios Championship match on a recent episode of Dynamite. The belief is that the timetable for his return from injury is 6-8 weeks, as he has elected not to undergo surgery.
The hope is that he will be back in time for Double or Nothing on May 28.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Jackson’s treatment included bone marrow shots, PRP and shockwave treatment. He wrote,
“Matt Jackson had bone marrow shots, PRP and shockwave treatment on his arm. He did go to St. Louis even though he wasn’t on the air because both Young Bucks have storyline injuries. His arm is in a brace so he can’t use it.”
