Matt Jackson suffered a torn bicep on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite and opted for nonsurgical treatment for the injury.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Jackson has been receiving stem cell and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatments on the injured arm. Doctors have commended Jackson on how well his condition has improved in such a short period of time.
Meanwhile, NJPW has big things going on as the company added 40,000 new subscribers to New Japan World in January. The surge in subscriber count happened after Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4 had the most live views ever (90,000+) with total subscribers around 150,000 to 160,000.
Since Wrestle Kingdom 17 aired in the middle of the night in North America, many likely watched the show the following day.
New Japan World previously experienced similar gains following the Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho bout (42,000).
