We here at eWrestlingNews are saddened to learn of the passing of Matt and Jeff Hardy’s father, Gilbert Hardy. Their father reportedly passed away a few days ago. Jeff Hardy was removed from the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Friday’s SmackDown due to his passing.
No further details have been released in regards to his passing at this time. Matt Hardy took to Twitter about an hour ago, confirming the news.
