Mick Foley has his rambunctious frame to thank for a lengthy career in wrestling, according to the WWE Hall of Famer.
Throughout his career, Foley was part of several hard-hitting matches both in and out of WWE, including death matches in Japan and the infamous Hell in a Cell match at King of the Ring 1998.
When asked about how his body handled the various bumps and scrapes, Foley gave a unique answer on his Foley is Pod podcast. He said,
“Fat doesn’t tear brother. I really worried about Tommy Dreamer a couple of years ago. He took a bad bump on TV and I sent him a text message to make he was okay. And he came back with the fat doesn’t tear line.”
Foley’s final match came at an OMEGA show in February 2015 where he defeated Mickey Gambino.
