WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has been overwhelmed by the portrayal of him in the latest episode of NBC’s Young Rock.
The popular series detailing Dwayne Johnson’s rise to superstardom is now in its third season and follows the Great One’s early days in the WWF.
On Facebook, Foley responded to the portrayal of him by actor Sam Ball. He said,
“I’m not sure words can do justice to how grateful I’m feeling after watching last night’s episode of #YoungRock. While I’ve had some special wrestling moments in front of thousands, last night’s moment was just me, alone in my hotel, tears in my eyes, as I watched an actor portraying me (doing a fine job, too) teaching Dwayne Johnson’s character a lesson about the gift of Christmas giving.”
Other legends of wrestling featured on the show include The Rock’s father ‘Soulman’ Rocky Johnson, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, and Vince McMahon.
