Impact Wrestling’s Mickie James was pleased to hear her name mentioned on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW by CM Punk.
During his promo on RAW, Punk mentioned competing in a dark match in 2005 in which he and James were presented as an on-screen couple.
Punk was sent down to OVW after his dark match against indie wrestler Rob Begley. On Twitter, James shared a photo of her brief time at Punk’s side.

This week’s episode of WWE RAW saw Punk declare himself for next month’s Men’s Royal Rumble match. Punk is considered a favorite, as is the match’s other confirmed entrant – Cody Rhodes.
