AEW’s MJF is confident that HOOK should win the Rookie of the Year award from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer.
Each year, the Observer has its annual awards, which have seen Jade Cargill, Pat McAfee, and Jungle Boy all be awarded Rookie of the Year.
Responding to a fan who called on Logan Paul to win the award, Meltzer said there is stiff competition, referencing NXT Champion Bron Breakker, Takumi Fujiwara and HOOK.
In a rebuttal, MJF said that HOOK “takes the cake,” despite thinking that HOOK is “a poor.”
