As we’ve noted, former WWE star Alberto Del Rio appeared on Nos Cayó La Noche in Mexico, and claimed he has been in talks with WWE about a potential return. However, a subsequent report from talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy claims nobody from WWE has reached out to Del Rio.
Now, a report from Fightful has corroborated talkSPORT’s report, suggesting multiple WWE sources have denied having talks with Del Rio. One even went as far as saying Del Rio’s claim was “bull****.” Another source added, “If Paige does nothing for WWE, she’s more valuable to have around than anything he could do.” And another source added WWE doesn’t want to make Paige uncomfortable by having Del Rio around.
